RESOLVE HEALTH AND WELLBEING GDPR STATEMENT


​We would like to inform you how we will be handling your data to comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on 25th May 2018. This legislation affects every business which handles personal data for clients or staff.


The personal data that we hold for you is the information contained on the medical questionnaire that you completed when you first came to us and includes personal details, contact information, emergency contact details and medical history. We will never share this data with anyone unless you specifically request us to (for example, in referral to a physiotherapist). We will only use this data for work with Resolve Health and Wellbeing. 


All paper based information is stored securely at the studio. Our insurers request we keep all client notes for a minimum of 7 years, so it is our policy to keep all paper records for this length of time.


All electronically stored information (for example, if you initially completed your medical questionnaire online) is stored on a password protected computer. 

 

If you would like us to delete your contact information, contact us asking to opt out of future communications and we will delete it straight away.  If you decide that you are happy for us to keep your contact information in our system, you can of course ask for it to be deleted at any time.
